Pick a category on the Join page. Its page lists every open hive of that kind, highest trust first, with filters beside the list: a service box that narrows as you type, a switch for hives with instant approval only, and a sort by trust score, by how fast the owner accepts, or by lowest price. Every card shows the price you would pay and how quickly that owner tends to answer.
Open the hive and press Chope this seat. If the hive sends access by invite link you will be asked where to send it — your beemate address is filled in, but the account you hold with the provider may be a different one, and you can change it later from the hive page. The owner only sees that address once they accept you. If they have instant approval on, the seat is yours immediately; otherwise the request waits for them, and the card told you how long they usually take.
The price on a hive is what a matey pays each month, nothing is added later: the seat price the owner set, with beemate's service fee in it. Owners receive the seat price less beemate's commission, and on a public hive a one-off introduction fee comes off a new matey's first month. The rates in force are explained on one page, which follows any change. Payments are not switched on today, so nothing is collected from anyone. How beemate's fees work.
Yes, from the hive page, in one of two ways. Leave at the end of the period keeps your seat until the day you paid through, then releases it — you can cancel that before the day. Leave now gives the seat up today; nothing further is charged and nothing is refunded, because the period you are in was paid at its start. The owner is told either way.
No. beemate is not affiliated with, partnered with, or endorsed by any provider listed here. Access and usage conditions are set by each provider, and we only list a plan publicly when the provider's own terms allow sharing beyond a single household. Read their terms before you join a hive — they are the ones that bind you, not ours.
